The restaurant will be closed from Sunday 24th March to Wednesday 3rd April as we take some vacation time.

Refreshing. Unique. Peerless. One could be describing any one of the sixteen home-made ice creams created by Queans' chef and proprietor Laura Hamilton. Such adjectives, however, are more apt to describe the whole dining experience Queans offers. Refreshingly congenial service, a uniquely warm atmosphere and unsurpassed cuisine.
Queans' burgeoning success is a result of the ethos upon which it is founded. There are no second sittings or time pressures when deciding on any aspect of your meal. All food is cooked to order and the table is yours for the evening. We are vegetarian friendly and all the ingredients are sourced, where possible, from independent producers within the area so as to support the local business community.
For those unfamiliar with Laura's background, she has been a chef in the local area for over thirty years. Her scrumptious hospitality is renowned, and this has meant a loyal and ever-growing fan base of satisfied customers have followed her to Queans which opened in 2005.
